A day without laughter is a day wasted! April Fool’s Day may have started in 1582 when the calendar was changed in France. New Year’s Day used to be on April 1st. It was changed to January 1st. People who celebrated the new year on April 1st were called April Fool’s and that day was a day for telling and playing jokes.
