About
PRECESSION: three stories spanning three aeons of time measured by the perceived astrological movement of the zodiacal constellations due to the Earth’s ecliptic movement around the sun. Each cycle or “age” comprising, what we know in linear time, as approximately 2,150 years.
Part1. PISCES: At the beginning of the 21st century two boys from disparate social backgrounds form the unlikeliest of friendships. Bonded by a mutual passion for birds of prey, they share an adventurous rite of passage until adolescence and environmental circumstances inevitably tear them apart.
War brings about an all too brief and tragic reunion, and a sterling silver token of eternal friendship becomes a talisman, a symbol of hope and an object of myth and legend as mankind slowly re-learns his innate capacity for unlimited consciousness.
Part 2. AQUARIUS: “It was in the heart of The Cusp between the ages of The Fish and the coming of The Water Bearer that the genesis of a new order began to emerge. Monotheism was at its dogmatic destructive peak. Global conflict was making a nihilistic swansong, and The Earth stirred to shake off its parasitic tormenters. Futile wars fought for perfidious causes became wars fought for survival. Great cities and their peoples vanished as land became sea. Famine and pestilence brought about by earthquake, flood and drought held sway and the pervading values of ego, money, power and control that were all aspects of the epoch of The Fish were diminished.” – Book of the Meek.
In the long aftermath of a cataclysm where the northern hemisphere is still ice-bound and devoid of any sunlight, the survivors and their cognates strive to re-build a world far removed from The Great Reset envisioned by the so-called global elite.
With the long thaw overdue and a portent for more upheaval upon these shores, one young woman plays her part in realising the vision of her forebears, but a chance encounter is about to change her life and bring back those symbolic links that irretrievably connect her and her enigmatic ward with the past.
Part 3. CAPRICORN: The return of our sun’s binary star brings with it a diminishing threat to what is a largely utopian way of life. Two youths undertake an ancient tribal rite of passage, where the symbol of the hawk once again plays its part amidst the supposition of reincarnation, guilt, redemption, the payment of a karmic debt, and the graduation of a soul now set to finally fill its potential on the back of personal tragedy.
