The Rt Hon Lord Howell, of Guildford, who as David Howell pioneered wider ownership as a Minister in several Conservative Governments, says in the book: “Millions of people are now beginning to see themselves as potential proprietors of the economy and society, as stakeholders.”
“Wider Ownership: A Way Forward for the UK”, has a Foreword by Lord Brady, of Altrincham (formerly Conservative MP and 1922 Committee Chairman Sir Graham Brady) and an Introduction by the Rt Hon Jesse Norman MP, Shadow Leader of the House of Commons. It contains essays on the wider ownership theme from Lord Howell of Guildford; Dr Kristian Niemietz, Editorial Director and Head of Political Economy of the Institute of Economic Affairs; Josh Smith, Director of Policy at NextGenTories; Andrew Dubock, Comm
